Galaxie Business Equipment has a long history of providing outstanding Service and Support for Office Automation Equipment. The Business was started by James French in 1973 and provided Service and Support for Typewriters and Word processors of the day.

Due to demand for the fine services provided the business continued to expand both in the product offerings and the staff required to Service the growth. We expanded into Copier and Fax Machines earning Platinum Dealer Status for SHARP Copier and Fax Products. We also added HON and Kruger Ergonomic Office Furniture to our product offerings.

In 1993 we established a Computing Division dedicated to providing Computer and Networking Solutions to our Clients. In our efforts to provide our customers real world productivity gains from Technology in 1997 we started to Sell and Support LaserFiche an Award winning Document Management System. This Technology proved to be an Outstanding Solution for many Local Government Offices and Dozens of Kansas Municipalities became early adopters of Document Imaging Technology with Galaxies' help.

As we worked with our clients, in time we saw the need to provide more productivity tools to speed up the process of Document Classification and Capture. To fill this need we partnered with Kofax the world leader in Document Capture and Forms processing Software. This addition has enabled many of our Clients to achieve excellent productivity gains.

In 2002 we added a Professional Services Department to augment our Technical Support Team and add Programming and Integration capabilities to our portfolio of products. Since then we have developed our own Suite of Products with the PHANTOM Trademark. These Products are designed to Image enable many of our Customers Applications and facilitate elimination of touch points in the business process.

We are excited about the prospects for the future. We continue to work closely with our Clients with the goal of always looking for ways to improve efficiency.
